In the midst of the noise and busy-ness of an anxious world, we invite you to begin Lent with stillness and quiet. Join us for a Candlelight Ash Wednesday Mass with Taizé music. Instead of a traditional sermon, the homily will include a brief guided meditation to help you settle into the silence and listen for God’s voice in your own heart.

Join our parish community for soup and movie night as we observe the first three Fridays of Lent together. This Lenten gathering is a fully online event, allowing our widespread community to share in this tradition of soup and fellowship.

How It Works
Since these are traditionally days of abstinence from meat, we’re making it easy and meaningful to keep the tradition and stay connected. Each week will feature two main ingredients:
  • The Recipe: We will share a vegetarian or vegan soup recipe ahead of time. These "Lenten fast" friendly meals are designed to be simple, hearty, and easy to make. While we’ll provide a specific recipe to try, please feel free to prepare your own favorite meatless soup or any other vegetarian meal you prefer!
  • The Movie: Once we’re all settled in with our bowls, we’ll join together online to watch the movie. The movie selections are chosen to spark reflection on our faith, inspire hope, and help us enter more deeply into the Lenten season.

Looking for a more meaningful way to spend your Friday nights this Lent? Join us for a three-part series of community discussions that feel less like a formal meeting and more like a gathering of friends.

Instead of traditional lectures, we’re keeping it conversational. Each evening begins with one person sharing a brief reflection to start things off, and then the floor is open. You’re invited to bring a piece of yourself to the circle, whether it’s a short story, a poem that moved you, a video clip, or even a piece of music. If you’d rather just listen and soak it all in, that’s perfectly fine, too.

Our Friday Themes
We will meet on the final three Fridays of Lent to explore three themes:
  • Everything About Lent: A night to unpack the season. What does this time of year mean to you? Is it about sacrifice, preparation, or a specific tradition you hold dear?
  • Quiet Heroes: We’re celebrating the "background characters" of our lives. The people who show up, do the right thing without fanfare, and embody strength through humility.
  • Personal Experiences of Grace: Where have you found unearned kindness or witnessed unexpected peace? We’ll share those moments of unexpected grace and the times we glimpsed God’s presence in the midst of daily life.
