Sacraments

Baptism and Confirmation
Please contact us for information about preparation for these Sacraments of Initiation.

Eucharist
We welcome all people to worship with us, inviting all baptized Christians to receive Holy Communion.

While we worship online temporarily, if you do not have the Blessed Sacrament available, we invite you to make an Act of Spiritual Communion using the words below during Mass.

“My Jesus, I believe that you are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I long for you in my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though you have already come, I embrace you and unite myself entirely to you; never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.”

Reconciliation/Assurance of Forgiveness/Pastoral Conversation
Although we are not able to offer the sacrament of Confession at this time, we are able to offer an Assurance of Forgiveness for any who would like a reminder of God’s forgiveness in their lives. If you would like to receive an Assurance of Forgiveness or feel that a pastoral conversation would be helpful, please contact Mtr. Lyngine to arrange for a time to talk.

Anointing of the Sick
Although we are not able to offer anointing of the sick at this time, please contact us if you would like us to pray with you or any of your loved ones who are ill. This can be done on the phone or via video conference. We also can add your name or the names of your loved ones to our parish prayer and/or Mass lists.

Marriage
We are committed to Marriage Equality for all couples, straight, gay, lesbian, or transgender.  Legally divorced and same-sex couples may seek marriage in our Church. Parish clergy are happy to discuss your wedding plans.

Holy Orders
We ordain men and women, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and heterosexual Christians as bishops, priests, and deacons. Please feel free talk to Mtr. Lyngine if you are considering a vocation and visit the vocations page of the Independent Catholic Christian Church for additional information.
