What's Happening at St. Mary of Grace Parish
Christmas Eve Mass with carols and candlelight
7:30 p.m. (ET) on Zoom and Facebook Live Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/354928627 Please arrive about 15 minutes early if you'd like to do a reading, etc. If you aren't able to travel to Mass at your home church due to the weather, please know that you're welcome to join in also. We're a low-key and friendly community and always happy to have folks worship with us. To make this Mass a little more special from home, feel free to turn on your Christmas lights and light some candles for a more festive feel. If you have a nativity set, there will time during the opening hymn as Mass starts to place baby Jesus in the manager. There will not be a service on Christmas Day. |
In addition to collecting non-perishable food, the Media Food Bank has also started a new Adopt-A-Family program. Based on the requests (see link below), we may have the opportunity to help a family with a need in a way that will have a significant impact for them. Given the nature of the requests, we would most likely need to select a family and then make a single contribution together as a parish.
As a first step, please prayerfully review the links in Step 1 below and then fill in the form in Step 2 if you feel you would like to participate by December 25 if possible. Step 1: Read through the information in the links below and watch the video in the announcement. Announcement and Information Link to families' requests Step 2: Please fill out the form below and let us know your thoughts about which family you feel we would be able to help as a parish and how you would like to participate. Please fill out by December 25 if possible. Fill out form - https://forms.gle/EZrTSzU4ta9Zaccv6 Step 3: We will contact the Media Food Bank to coordinate.
