What's Happening at St. Mary of Grace Parish
Join us this Sunday, December 24 for our parish's Christmas Eve service in-person and on Zoom. This year will be a lay-lead service since Bp. Lyngine and Mtr. Sandy need to be with their families. They will join in spirit and prayer this year and in-person next year. Tom and Joanne will be facilitating the service in-person at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County and on Zoom (thank you!).

Novena to St. Nicholas and International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers
December 9-17, 2024 From Mike D: Link - https://novenaprayer.com/st-nicholas-of-myra-novena/ Of course, this novena is traditionally observed from November 28 to December 6, the feast day, but can be adapted for other occasions. I'm planning to begin my novena this Saturday, December 9, as I mentioned, continuing until Sunday, December 17, the International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers (as well as, of course, Gaudete Sunday). The page I've linked above also includes a link to a short video about St. Nicholas. Here is a link to a brief statement by the Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) USA explaining the history and overall significance of the International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers: https://december17.swopusa.org/ |
